Legislative advocacy is an important function of the Poway Chamber of Commerce. If you are interested in government affairs, the Poway Chamber encourages you to join our Government Affairs Committee, which meets at 7:30 a.m. on the last Wednesday of each month at the Chamber office.

John McIver is the chair of the committee, which monitors legislation and ballot propositions, and makes endorsement recommendations to the Board of Directors. Elected officials and their representatives attend our monthly meetings, so the committee is a good opportunity to interact with them.
