Vision Statement:An active community of qualified, educated, and informed leaders who understand how our community works, how plans and decisions are made, and who commit to being involved in their community by actively serving in positions of public influence in Poway and the surrounding communities.

Institute Strategy:Through a process of selection, curriculum, and post-graduation involvement, we will cultivate a diverse community of informed, committed, civic-minded leaders who actively utilize their leadership skills by serving in various positions of community involvement and influence in Poway and the surrounding communities.

We Serve:

• The numerous community organizations, government boards and committees, and nonprofit groups who are in need of an educated, skilled, and diverse pool of community leaders
• Those organizational leaders who are committed to learning and improving their leadership skills so that they can serve in the community
• Every resident and organization in Poway who is concerned about the plans and decisions being made that impact their quality of life
